ok well long story short i blew my 08 motor...i got a 07 camry motor for cheap and all the connectors hooked up, but when i went to crank the car it blew the ignition fuse... car turns over but no power to ecu or fuel or coills...


keep blowing theses fuses i pulled the motor out and i plan on replacing the wiring harness but i just wanna confirm that the blow fuses arent coming from the sensors that came with the motor

 

which sensors? but sensors such as o2, crank, injectors, knock, etc should be interchangeable it probably could be the harness and check for shorts and your grounds.

 

i just purchased a wiring harness will give this one a shot if not then its either a sensor that shortening it out or a body harness issue

 

and by sensor i was referring to the cam,crank,knock,oil pretty much everything that connects to the wiring harness

 

check the part numbers, if they're different, you'll have problems.

 

How much did the camry engine cost btw?

 

motor after shipping was 1200 full long block with around 18k miles and its pretty much brand new u can tell it was babied by the build up in the intake side of the head

i was boosted at 12 psi and well it wore over time
