has anyone heard anything about these tires? Either good or bad and would you recommend them.

Never heard of that brand before...hmm try googling the name and see if you can find a review on them.

I did and nothing came up. I was just wondering because I saw those tires being packaged with some rims.

I had them on my 01 civic. I liked the tire alot. I got them for about $65 a piece for 205-17-40. The sidewall was sturdy and tread was deep. The grip was good and I think I remember them having a lip guard (the lip of the tire was further out than the lip of the rim so the tire would rub, not the rim) The lip guard might not be on the Wanli but I know the tires were good. Got them from http://www.performancetirewholesalers.com/ Very fast shipping and friendly bunch of guys over there

These are chinese-made tires: www.wanlitires.com
I like the threading on 'em but then again, I don't know about quality and durability.
It's your call.

I had them on my xB, I got them in a Wheel & Tire package from Wheelmax. They were good, I never had any problems with them. They handled really well. Here's the only pic I have with them.

they make the imitation yoko avs sports... i read a review that they are louder than most tires and have not so good wet traction... but hey you save tons of money... just don't push em too hard... you get what you pay for and i think they would be fine as everyday tires

There just a cheap no name brande tire! VW said it best ... you get what you pay for! I would not cheap out on tires considering your life is ridding on them. I know tire rack has tire reviews and you can see what people actualy think about each tire. From expierence I know the Pirelli P7000's are VERY good tires wet and dry and the Yokohama AVS ES100 are VERY good dry and good wet.

I wouldn't either.

Agreed! Very good tire, but don't get 'em if your town gets any hint of snow  I've made that mistake...

It was snowing on my way home from work today and the Yoks did pretty good. I have them on the car now. There were a few times they go lose but nothing major and nothing I couldn't control!

I had some rough times in the snow with my Yoks...maybe it was just my experience. They were quite wide, too.

I could be way wrong on these Wanli tires. I've never used 'em. But, I guess I'd just rather not be the guinne pig when it comes to tires.

I live in south fla and unless theres a climate shift I will not have to worry about snow. I guess its a 50/50 shot with these tires. I was also looking into kumho tires.

We had about 6" of sonw last night and my Yoks didn't do too good this morning. Once I got to the highly plowed roads I was fine, but down the side streets I didn't do too good.

alright here is my take. Why go cheap on the only part that touches the road. Its the easiest way to increase your handling performance. YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR
!! STICK WITH A REPUTABLE TIRE BRAND.

I have the wanli tires on my xb. They seem well made and they have good traction. I live in FL too, so the rain hadling is important. They do very well in the rain so far. The tires are unidirectional, so they have to be mounted properly. Goodyear taught us that even expensive tires can be defective. Remember that you are not going to be driving at high speeds (or you wouldn't have bought an xB).

Are these tires decent in the snow..? Or are they only summer tires?

these (wanli) are the tires im picking up today on my Katana KR5's. The shop said i would get either kumhos or wanli's. I inquired as to which i would get and they kept saying they didnt know. I mentioned i wanted kumhos. i got wanlis. told them i wasnt that happy, and i wanted them to switch the rubber to kumhos. they said tires were already mounted and balanced and it was too late.

i get my rims today, so im happy, but lil skeptical of the wanlis.

shop said wanli's are made by dunlop...not sure if thats true or not.
