Default Here's a fun sunroof problem...

Ok here's the deal: my sunroof pops up cockeyed. The driver's side pops up as it should, but the passenger side does not, although it's trying to. I think a piece of glass (My windshield, rear sunroof, and rear window were smashed in recently) may have gotten in the track somewhere, and is now effing things up. Anyone know how the hell I might be able to get at "it" and see what I can do to fix the glitch, if anything?

Heh the only problems with those instructions is the part that says "Open the sunroof". That, of course, is the exact problem; I can not open it.

Hi,do you ever try to open were the motor fo the sunroof is mounted just to check is there another problem, because mines just do the same thing then got stock then just tilt and after that nothing happens i have to drive my car with a towel in case of rain to put it on sunroof so the water didnt come in it was like hell try not get wet so one day i just pull out the motor and there was the problem the metal rotor of the motor eat the sliding band tooth and i was able to pull the band that was damage and the sunroof closed but manually the problem is that toyota dont sell that band alone they sell the hole roof and it cost around $4,000.00 so its been like a year that i dont open my roof,so i hope that can help you in some way.
