I am thinking about buying a Manual XB. How are they in the snow with stock steel wheels i plan on buying aftermarket wheels for the nicer seasons

Mine was fine with the stock wheels and tires. Crapy with the new rims and tires. :nope:

Mine was great with manual transmission, factory alloy wheels and tires.

great its a snow plow with the stock setup if ya get tose 18s forget it stockies for snow use

the stock goodyears are garbage in the snow. i have a much better set of all-seasons that do alright in the snow, while with the gislaved nordfrost II 195/65 15 snow tires i mounted the car was virtually unstoppable, except in snow too deep for the ground clearance. i would recommend snow tires, but at the very least replace the stock goodyears with a better set of high performance all seasons that are rated well on tirerack.
