How to install gauges??? Constant 12v?
Is there anyone who can tell me what to use to hook this up? Like my instructions say a switched fuse 12VDC and a low side output, so I'm just confused at what to use. I understand the greddy gauges I have needs a light source, but then I need a 12v constant source and an ignition source...... Hopefully I'm not sounding to dumb. This is all I have left so I can drive my car so anyone
Basically Im asking where is a good constant 12v in the scion tc
Ive been reading the ignition is a 12v and thats best....... so now im confused what to splice my uego to get a 0-5V output (*WHITE <Analog Output><optional hookup> Connects to any Stand Alone ECU unit that accepts a 0-5 volt input.)

A constant 12v is at the ignition, though i dont think you need one... from the instructions it says "switched fused 12v"... i'm using the 12v from the cig lighter, its the black wire... you could also use the aux jack... the white output wire would go to the EMS... if you have AEM you can bump the part# against the list on page 4 of the UEGO instructions, and it gives you the pin to connect it to...
It's been a while since I wired mine, but remember when I used the cigarette lighter power wire the gauages did not calibrate correctly at start up.
I eventually changed it to an unused fuse in the fuse panel using an add a fuse.

i would use the cig lighter rather than wiring it into the ignition... its a bit safer in my opinion. just remember that the wires in the cig lighter are backwards meaning that black is positive(+) and the white is negative(-) that had me scratching my head when i installed my interior LEDS lol
alright im a try an get em in and see what works with the cig.... all my gauges r going to my glove box and I know i want to use the spot behind the ecu to bring them in what exactly do i too to use that cable?? just got to the side of it or like undo it and go in the center?
I don't exactly remember what wire to plug the wire(s) into, but it's attached to the plug that's on the backside of your stock gauges... You won't be able to dim the lights, but it's still going to look good...
