Whenever someone asks me the model of the car, I have to say xD as in "dog".

....not a soul in the world recognizes that car.....it's the second Scion vehicle that got no love from the public. :(

Well, a lot of people have asked me about the car, fuel economy, how it performs, the sound system, my mom says that is waayyyyy better than my dad's 2008 Civic, colder a/c, everything in this car is the best!! Hooray for Scion!! One day this car will get all the love it really deserves!

The 2 best so far! I cannot tell you how many times I tell people that I drive a Scion xD and they say "is that the toaster car?"

... if you took your stock tC wheels and put them on and immediatly wonder why they weren't on the car to begin with or even a legit option from the factory.

depends what radio. the new alpines, you can't. the pioneer upgraded premium one, you can change it.

Well, I drive very conservatively, you know, timing the lights, upshifting and downshifting properly, checking tire pressure, my trunk is empty, but regarding the exhaust, IDK.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say it is because you drive more. The xD isn't very impressive at bypassing gas stations, mainly because of the tiny gas tank... But also because the fuel economy is so-so. I'm hard pressed to get 400 miles out of a tank, but my Golf could go 900 miles on a tank. You forget all about gas stations with a car like that!

Has anybody tried painting the bottom of their dipstick so you get an accurate reading or does anybody have another solution?

I pull the dipstick out, wipe it, wait a few minutes (pump gas) then check the oil. Itvseems like the problem is tha the dipstick holds oil against the tube. If you let it drain backmin, the reading will be easier to see.

I visit the gas station about once a week. I've managed to get 37 MPG on 100% highway driving while on cruise at about 75 (and I'm talking over the hills, though the mountains, and off to my gf's house we go!). To me, that is a feat!

well ii most of the time carry a bottle of water and soda in the front center so when my friends bring their own drinks they will get dissapointed theres no more cup holders until ii pop the extra cup holder and they will react like its all magic lol

in the exact same fashion. i'm the only D i know in a club around Pittsburgh (monica i know was in one, but not sure if she still is). besides her D, i know of no other D in pittsburgh modded. we're the only two!!!

i can attest tot he xd's crash ratings, since i rolled my first one back on new year's day. walked out without a scratch, and interior (except windshield) was completely intact, even with a crushed roof, side panels, and engine bay. nothing on the interior looked pushed in or anything.

mine was supposed to be the under car kit. I just bought two of the front and two of the back tubes (the shorter ones) with the controller, and it works great. Pictures when I feel like it.
