You have checked the dipstick 17 times and are still not sure how much oil is in it.

 

you try to explain to a passerby what an xd is and they still don't know what you are talking about.

 

you say "i drive a scion" and somebody says "oh, the boxy thing", and you just shake your head.

 

If you say you drive a xd and people say "you mean xb?"

Whenever someone asks me the model of the car, I have to say xD as in "dog".

 

....not a soul in the world recognizes that car.....it's the second Scion vehicle that got no love from the public.

 

Well, a lot of people have asked me about the car, fuel economy, how it performs, the sound system, my mom says that is waayyyyy better than my dad's 2008 Civic, colder a/c, everything in this car is the best!! Hooray for Scion!! One day this car will get all the love it really deserves!

 

...you see another xD on the road and grin and wave like an idiot, and the other driver does the same.

Oh maybe that's just regional. There arent too many xD's or xB's on the road here but tC's are a dime a dozen.

 

You may drive a Scion XD if.....

-The first thing you do is take off the hub caps and buy chrome lug nuts.
-You thought all the little storage compartments under the rear floor mat were really cool when you bought it but a year later you still have not used them for anything.
-the back seats headrests need to be down for you to see out of the back window.

 

my firefighting emergency light does a good view of blocking that.

 

When u see a xD drive by and u stare at it all excited like your not driving one yourself.

You put it in neutral as you're about to descend a large hill, and pretend you're in a bobsled. Or maybe that's just me. lol

I always get so excited when I see another xD on the road.

I've got my front license plate (shhhh) and something else in my storage compartment. Totally forgot what, though. lol

 

... every time you disconnect the battery, your radio forgets what kind of car you have.

 

....you have never had to get anything fixed under warranty.

The 2 best so far! I cannot tell you how many times I tell people that I drive a Scion xD and they say "is that the toaster car?"

 

... if you took your stock tC wheels and put them on and immediatly wonder why they weren't on the car to begin with or even a legit option from the factory.

... other people with scions take a second look and say "thats definately not Black cherry or sizzling crimson, was that color stock?!" (BCM ftw lol)

 

i bought some random persons tc rims and threw em on haha
