+25-30 should be a good offset that'll get you flush (or close to it) front and rear without rubbing issues.

your saying get that offset in combination with the OTG spacers.. wouldnt that make the rear offset a a 15-20 offset... i can def see that causing issues

i need to know what offset to use taking into account ill be using the OTG rear shim spacers

thanx for the reply though ...

Tom, if the wheels are 7.5 inches wide, you can definitely run a +42 offset and not worry about rubbing. The only problem I had before the OTG spacers were I needed a 3mm spacer for the back wheels. I know, that's what offset my wheels are, and when I added the OTG spacers everything was fine. NIce and flush. OH, and I'm on at least a 2.5 inch drop.

thanx man :)

and the 215 40 tires should work perfect with this combo right ?

Yes, the 215/40-18s are slightly taller, but its a toss up between that size and 215/35-18s.

i def want a 215 40 .. i wont use a 35 because of the roads around here

heres something else to toss into the mix

a wheel i was looking at .. only comes in 18x7.5 with a +45 offset... i assume with the OTG rear shim spacers the back will be fine

but what about the front ? would i need a 3 mm spacer in the front to prevent rubbing or would a 45 offset in the front dropped on goldlines work ?

thanx again

You'll be fine with the 45mm offset in the front. I'm running 19x7.5 inch wheels 45mm offset with 225-35-19 inch tires, and I have no issues at all.

I have 7.5" wide +32 offset and 15mm H&R wheels spacers and if you look down from over the fender the wheel sits perfectly flush. The front is also 7.5" wide with a +32 offset but im using olny 5mm H&R wheel spacers and they are pretty damn flush.
The only thing with the 15mm rear wheel spacer is you have to use the Extended Wheel Studs H&R give you. But the look is AMAZING! Ill have pics up of the setup tomorrow!

Why don't you just get the proper offset wheels and skip the shims? 18x7.5 (+20) front and 18x9 (+25) rear, for example. Otherwise, run the shims and go with 18x7.5 +35 all around. I've seen guys who run 18x8 and +25 with no issues, so 18x7.5 +35 with a 10mm shim should be fine.

Hey guys got my18" with 215/40 tires last week and I don't have rubbing issues. My question is if I were to drop it with goldlines will I then have any rubbing issues with these springs? If so then im thinking i'll have to with the trd's...

thanks

im running 8" wide in rear. im running a 25 offset
with about 5-7mm's of additional spacing. i can probably
swing another 2mm if i wanted to. but im pretty low to the floor,
and with 4 headsin my car.. my car is tucked.
