so I am running into some sagging/warping on the bottom of my five axis sideskirts. Does anyone else have this issue and if so any solutions to fix the sagging?

 

did you jack up yr car at any point?

I have same thing on right side skirt and I'm pretty sure it's because of tryin to get a jack under there.

My rs1 lip kit never bent.

 

Nope they were a tad warped after paint but have sagged worse at the bottom.

almost like a W actually. right around the door area but at the bottom. I think that there should be tabs there to hold them in place to support them, but there is nothing there to do so.

 

I'll check mine for you tomorrow, see if I have tabs

not sagging but I have waves from a retarded installation by MPH motorsports.

 

mine is warped a bit too on the sides. i wouldnt worry about it too much.

 

Well considering this is basically a $1k kit (or nearly so) I would be concerned. Have you thought of maybe contacting five axis and seeing what they have to say? It couldn't hurt.

 

I don't think its a problem. Take some pictures and show us the warping.

 

to be honest, i think its the paint, not the sideskirt itself. when i looked at mine, it looks like the paint is the one giving the illusion of warping. when i run my hand thru it, i dont feel any abnormalities.

No warparge here.. I have mounted brackets in the the center.. But is polly uerathane.. With heat, it tends to soften it up.. and the roads being hotter than ever and the kit sitting as low as it does. yeah.. most likely the cause..

 

RS1 is normally either ABS or C/F.. it's more rigid than Poly. But poly bends so no cracking.. POLY FTW..

Passenger side is a lot worse. Both look alot worse in person as well. To be honest the rear lip is really wavy too.
