Rear TRD lowering spring install question - which way does the coils face?
in the TRD manual it states
"Position the tightly wound coils facing the beam axle spring seat."
I would assume that the tightly wound coils is down and the other part is not.
When I looked at scion parts people picture it had it opposite what i think the instructions are saying.
Does anyone know know if the tightly wound coils should be installed facing down towards the ground or up towards the car?

dont look at the instructions just take it out, inspect how everything is BEFORE you take it apart and then installing is the exact opposite. you will be able to tell once u put em on how it goes... its very simple
hmm that doesn't help as the TRD spring and the Stock spring are different.
TRD srping has one side of the coils thats tightly wound and I am wondering if the tightly wound portion goes on the bottom or on the top spring seat.
Scion Parts web site shows it on the top while I believe the instructions say to put it on the bottom...
