hal9000 02-25-2005, 09:25 PM looks good..gives me and idea of what mine would look like if i put my Ro_Ja F5's on..i've been reluctant to because the spokes are so thin and the tC body is so fat..uhhh..i mean thick...
Swanny 02-26-2005, 12:37 AM Looking great... Any more pics from a angle or something like that. I'm really digging the wheels and drop. What offset and tire size did you end up going with on them? Keep up the good work!
R3DLIN3_WHIT3 02-26-2005, 01:11 AM looks good *thumbs up*

sonicscion 02-26-2005, 05:00 AM now thats whut im talkn about. fresh car man. lovin the rims also.
komik 02-26-2005, 05:50 AM Thanks you guys. I don't know why the back was so high stock. I guess that's why the springs drop the car 1.2" in the front and 1.5" in the rear.
Not sure about the offset, but the tires are Kumho Ecsta ASX 225/40/18. I ordered them from Tirerack and got them the next day. I actually ordered a different spec tire and Tirerack called me and said that the ones I ordered weren't rated for the weight of my car and the ones I needed were $7 cheaper per tire. :)
I'm going to Import Face Off this Sunday. I'll take some more pics then.
Thanks for the input! :D

Mr_Meaty 02-26-2005, 06:01 PM Nice! Those rims are tight. Yeah, the rear in the stock picture did look really high, but with the springs looks perfect. How much time between the springs annd the rims pic? I know the rims a an inch bigger then stock, but it looks like the springs had settled a bit more in the second pictuure, especially in the back. You running stock shocks?
Swanny 02-26-2005, 07:53 PM Your ride is looking really good. Thanks for the updated pics and the specs on the wheels and tires. The wheels fit the car real well, I'm gonna have to keep that style in mind. Keep up the good work.

We put the springs on Sunday (2/20/05) and I had the rims put on Friday (2/25/05). The picture of the the springs on stock wheels was taken on Monday (2/21/05). I'm still running the stock shocks. With all the work that went into the spring install, I would've been better off putting on new shocks at the same time. I'm not looking forward to taking the whole car apart again when I get new shocks.
Kev_the_rev 02-27-2005, 09:22 PM quick question.. when everyone gets the trd springs.. do you get the trd shocks too? or do you keep the stock shocks?
Mr_Meaty 02-28-2005, 01:48 AM quick question.. when everyone gets the trd springs.. do you get the trd shocks too? or do you keep the stock shocks?
I'm getting just the springs. Not the shocks. Alot of guys do that. The description of the springs say they are designed to work well with the stock shocks, but obviously they would work even better with the TRD shocks.
SupaWhiteTc 03-01-2005, 03:31 PM That looks really good. I give it a 10! Good work man.
jrv2000 03-01-2005, 06:35 PM looks good man, but i think if you kicked out the wheels a little bit it would look tight, maybe an offset anywhere between 35 or 40
Jimmy 03-02-2005, 02:12 PM very nice wheels
IndigoDreams 03-02-2005, 02:20 PM as i told you at IFO the wheels really do look good....i originally was gonna get them but i think i might go with either some Gold Axis 5spokes or some Gold Work Mesh wheels in 19"
hikari 03-02-2005, 06:35 PM Looks great, nice job! Every time I see wheels on a tC it makes me want to go impulse buy!
sairanev 03-30-2005, 05:16 PM springs, rims...lucky!!
