socalxb 02-26-2005, 08:58 PM They both look good, although I'm not a fan of the aluminum lip thing on the PW one. The hot lava one is sweet. I'm guessing bags are definitely more for looks than "performance", but they do add a very unique look to the xB. I tinkered with the idea of bags, but didn't want to give up what little "trunk" space there is already. Maybe a rear disc brake kit, with drilled rotors all the way around...?
bamabox 02-26-2005, 10:57 PM They both look sweet!! That Hot Lava is off da hook.  Thats for both of ya,nice work
pocketbusXB 02-27-2005, 08:25 AM NICE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! where can i get good set of bags for good price? and whats the psi on your bags

LavaBox_v1 02-27-2005, 01:38 PM Looks good! Any pics of the tank and compressor setup?
windowtint 02-27-2005, 02:42 PM They both look good, although I'm not a fan of the aluminum lip thing on the PW one.
It's not aluminum - looks like it a little in the pic though - I've seen it up close - it's silver '"carbon" fiber. He got it from NISH if I remember right. In person it's got a flat silvery weave look to it, as opposed to being a polished silver metal peice. Doesn't look bad at all (in person).
As far as someone not wanting to lose their trunk space - SCION1616 didn't lose any - there's nothing in his 'trunk'. The tank is underneath the trunk behind the rear bumper. There's a large void there that the tank fits in nicely. Unless you've got duals, or some other obstruction, there's plenty of room. (trunk problem solved...). You also wont have to listen to the compressor running as loud since it won't be inside the car with you.
MrMcNuggett 02-27-2005, 06:14 PM Sorry about posting on here just thought a fellow bagged xB would appreciate something cool like bags on another xB. i guess that scion1616 thinks that he is the only one who can have bags. so sorry and i won't interfere with this post any more later scion1616 :)
windowtint 02-27-2005, 07:16 PM what in the world are you talking about McNugget?!?!?!? Unless he PM'd you or something - but there hasn't been a single rebuttal to any post in this thread by Scion1616, much less one where he gets onto someone about posting in 'his' thread.
Did he PM you?? From what I see in the thread, you've only gotten thumbs up for your setup.
rollotomassi 02-27-2005, 07:44 PM :eyebrow: I think he might have gotten PMed.
lpfan57 02-27-2005, 08:23 PM I love bagged XB's!
MrMcNuggett 02-28-2005, 11:41 PM yeah they pm me and talk the nasty to me. But it is cool now got it all worked out sorry for the bad stuff that happens but it all comes out cool in the end. keep up the cool mods every one. laters
