How do you know if a wheel is too heavy for the xB? I can hear a little noise when i attemp to make wide turns, and also a little noise when breaking. I own adr gt-sports but not to sure on how much they weigh exactly. The noise isn't a type of grinding, but it didn't sound like this with stock tires + steels. Also, i'm at stock height so rubbing shouldn't be the problem.

is that what you hear? or more mechanical? like scraping?

I'd imagine its road noise, because as stated i'm riding at stock height with 17's, should'nt be any scraping involved. I've never ridden on rims before, so i guess this is just a novice mistake.

Did you use hubcentric rings when you had your wheels mounted? Just a thought but those would be times you'd notice, IMO.

Probally road noise. What tires do you have. Cheapy tires are hella loud. Definately get hub centric rings.

All you have to know is the centbore of the xb (see wheel fitment guide sticky) and the center bore of your new rims(go to the manufactuers website or call them)
Then you buy them at tirerack.com or discounttire or wereever they sell them.
