So I have been hard pressed to put an Injen CAI onto my 2010 tC but having a second opinion always help, right?

I'm really lookin' to enhance the sound of my HKS Hi-Power Axle back exhaust but would running the risk of a cop finding out be worth it? What would be the expected fine if I did get popped? Could it really be impounded or is that very unlikely?

I don't mind changing it out with the stockie for smogs and such.

What do you guys think? CAI or no CAI?

can you get a smog legal one??If you get busted they will give ya a gross polluter ticket and then you will have to visit the c.a.r.b (smog) man

No smog legals for 2010 tC as far as I know. Best I can do legally would be the H&K drop in filter but thats really not what I'm going for intake wise.

Just wait till sema and see if Injen or some one comes out with a carb legal cai. Ticket is over 3bills and most of the time they are not droping the fine even after compliance.
