I'm thinking about putting some grill where the fog light slots are. Kinda like this:

I think it has the possibilty to look nice if I can manage to NOT magle the grill while cutting it to size. :nails: I think it'll be a nice cold air inlet for the engine, too. What do you think?
If it's raining heavily, I could easily pop the grill off and put the stock piece back in so the intake doesn't suck any water in. I could even put a little fine mesh behind the grill if I was worried about rocks or something flying into the intake.

Feedback, tips, hints?

I think it will look good, I think chrome mesh would look better, though.

umm nish designs has one made already. you can contact him at www.nish-designs.com. i think his is anodized black. but im sure you could chrome it. it looks great though.

1) Oops...I guess this is a little more body related. Sorry 'bout that. :)

2) Nish-designs: that's the idea, but I'd like the mesh to look like the other mesh on the vehicle. That's just me...

the size of the locknuts on the back would only fit that size. had to trim a little of the plastic fins on the backside to make them fit
