Well the M3 coupe is about $58k, so I'm guessing it will be less than that. Given that the M seems to have a $15k premium over the non-M series 3 and 5, I'd guess it to be about $50k since the 135i is $36k.
BTW, it's not about cargo space, the Z4 also costs more than a 3-series (non-M) and it's quite a bit smaller. My main wonder is if it will get the M3 V-8 or an upgraded turbo 6.

Why drop $18k on a tC when for an extra $4k you can get RWD in a Genesis or a Mustang? Everyone has there preference. I think the 1 Series M is an intrigueing offering, I guarantee it will be a lot more fun to drive than the standard 3-series. If you're worried about space and passenger luxury, buy a Benz. This one's all about the driver.
