Default What?!? TC on a tC!

That's right you heard it a TC on a tC! We slapped on the newly released set of Titanium Chrome (TC) Rota Torque 18x9.5 +35 on my 08' tC late last week and finally got around to shooting some pictures of them. The Titanium Chrome is definitely a great looking finish and these pictures do not do them justice. They look amazing in person with a lot of BLING factor! These were a direct bolt-on for the tC with just a rear fender roll. While we were at it we also shot some pictures of the Hyper Black Torques in the same fitment as well. Before you guys get on my case about how the car needs to be "moar low" this set-up is just to show people that this will fit with just springs and a rear fender roll.

Owner: Tommy@WheelDude.com
Car: 08' tC
Wheels: Rota Torque 18x9.5 +35 Titanium Chrome/Hyper Black
Tire Spec: 235/40/18 Toyo Proxes 4
Suspension: Tein S-Tech Springs w/ Stock shocks

Enjoy the pictures!

Hyper Black

Thanks!

It clears just fine, I have no rubbing issues at all in the front. The only rubbing that I have is from the rear with hard bumps and through turns, but that's because I got an alignment when I had my stock wheels on and my camber setting is at zero in the rear. A little bit of negative camber should fix that though.

I wouldn't attempt at that with TRD springs. I was looking at these too. If you get them then I'll pass and get something else. It'll be a moment before I get the funds up for wheels anyway.

Wondering how low the car is, or the drop height of the springs are? I was running 18x8's and the fronts rubbed like a ****.

Domo, true true. Another way to look at it is he's in a different location.

^^ I have to second that. Even if they are a "knock-off" of another brand's wheel. I like it and I like that hyper-black finish.

They look amazing in person. There is one right in front of me in my office on display and I never get tired of looking at it.

Its a pretty good set-up just for daily driving purposes on the drop that I have and it turns heads

According to this thread (link below). The S-Tech lower 2.4 inch in the front and 2.0 inch in the rear.

^ hmm Amazing, I had 18x8 running on hotchkis springs, which I'm sure are higher than the S-techs and they rubbed so bad. Though.. I did have crazy beefy tires on it... lol. Anyways looks great, love the color. My buddy ordered a set of DPT's from you guys.
