Default Power Window Issue

Hi all,

I really like the forum here and until now I have just been a lurker but I have my first issue. I bought a 2008 Scion Tc late last year and have enjoyed it until yesterday.

Last week I went to start my car and the battery was dead. I bought a new battery and thought all my issues were cured. But yesterday I got into my car and went to roll the windows down and the driver side worked but the passenger side would not go down. I tried to the passenger side switch and it went down/up as it should. No matter what I try now it will not function using the driver's side switch and yes I double checked that it was not locked.

Any Ideas? Thanks

Found a thread. Thanks. https://www.scionlife.com/forums/sho...=reset+windows

I hadn't searched because I was about to go to the dealership for an oil change/tire rotation etc... and wasn't sure if it was an easy fix (like you indicated) or if the dead battery and window issue was a precursor of some major electrical issue.

Thanks again, this thread can be closed
