Default somebody backed into my 2 month old xb

last night i went to walmart...did some shopping...came back out and drove home...pulled my xb in my garage and walked around the front end of it, and noticed that part of the bumper was sort of cleaner then the rest of the bumper...so i looked a little closer rubbed some more of the dirt off and saw that some1 had backed into me...cracked the bumper, and scratched the heck out of the bumper as well. the scratches dont look to deep, so maybe i can get them buffed out. i will see what happens tomorrow when i take it to my body shop. the luck i have!!! its only 2 weeks old and i parked so far out in the walmart parking lot so no1 would have parked near me, but i guess im not safe anywhere. sorry for the rant, im a little annoyed today.

Seems to be a lot of this going around.

I just found another door ding, and since it's on the EDGE of the passenger door
from being opening INTO something, I can only figure it's the retarded webasto
installers that struck again.

walmarts normally videotape the whole parking lot, give em call and see if they can look at tape and see who hit it

I would call wal Mart, ask to speak to security, and tell them what happened. most all Wal Marts ive seen have cameras in thier parking lot.

As for the repair- your probly in need of a new bumper!

i was parked so far out of the way, almost in the next shopping centers parking lot, so i doubt wal mart has it on camera.

and as far as the bumper goes...after cleaning it off some this morning, i found a few chunks taken out of it, so i will probably have to get a new bumper

its worth checking though. a friend worked at a walmart and had her system stolen. they had it on video, it showed the car drive right to hers and steal everything. like it was planned or something.

but the cops were useless and wouldnt do anything

Man that sucks. What I had found is that parking a brand new car so far away from the other vehicles in parking lots make it stand out like a magnet for some a**hole to decide to park next to you and do something to your vehicle.

Another interesting thing you and all others that visit Wally Worlds should think about. Next time you go, usually on the side of the building is designated for the employee parking. I park there all the time in my xB and whatever vehicle I drive. Think about it, not to many vehicles entering/exiting parking spots, so less greater of a chance for door dings, bumps hits etc. Most of the cars there are owned by the people working inside for an 8 hour shift. Also there tends to be more security cameras in the employee parking section.
