No, but when you remove it, make sure you have some 'Goo Gone'. I bought some at Auto-Zone for 1.99. Also, be careful when heating the emblem, it may cause paint bubbling, as the tutorial states -> https://www.scionlife.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=20747

 

Surprisingly, the emblem is actually from an actual IST (xA) from japan. of course its not literally FROM the car, but its the model used, i got it at newscionparts.com I figured that the size was pretty appropriate; only thing i dislike about it is the "-" crossing the '|' in the t, does not lay flat; but all the other spots do.

The toyota emblem looks way too large and out of place on the back.

I would rather have nothing there at all but the idea is good.

I like the larger toyota emblem. I had a choice of smaller, but when i compared it and what it would look like on the back, i decided to go larger. Trust me, in person it seems a lot more appropriate.
