I ordered it through ptuning and it only took like 2 days to get here. Installing it was a breeze, took about 25-30 min. I took apart the windshield wipers completly. Strut bar.....Not headers bambams247 03-17-2005, 04:30 AM oh sorry, looking at 2 posts at once. i instaleld mine didnt take the wipers off its fine, i think something rattles in the intake area now tho but i need to find what it is getting kinda annoying. only rattles after id rive and come to stop and i dont ahve music playing, once i start reving or driving its gone....any ideas? yamaha16bw 03-17-2005, 05:54 PM Yeah doulbe sided foam tape. Same thing happened to me and that stopped it. (weapon r secret intake) fixes the issue? yamaha16bw 03-18-2005, 06:40 PM Well I hope a cold air intake will fix it. I put that foam tape on and now its making a deaper clicking noise. It got rid of it for awhile. I'm still waiting to the AEM intake!! bambams247 03-19-2005, 12:14 AM I put the soft side velcoro all voer the bar on the bottom where it would hit. its still ther ebut its quieter, just means I need to buy my intake quicker! alot quicker! hehe. We'll see how I can score some $$$ and go from there! yamaha16bw 03-19-2005, 02:27 AM Well I saw a pic of the AEM intake today and it relocates that clip that is making the noise. I think i'll just live with it till it comes out. I only hear it when im at idle and its really quite out.
