More like a creaking/clanking. I have another thread about that here.

hey randode, would you agree that the creaking/clanking sound on the front right of our cars might be a loose nut? Check the link above for the full thread. If so I want to get that taken care of soon

its usually the top spring hat not being lined up with the flat spots on the strut shaft. I can look at it if you want.

I am not dogging tanabes, but most car on goldlines sit lower than the tanbes, I have installed both springs on mine and customers cars. the goldlines sit lower. I still like the tanabes, they have a sportier ride than the goldlines. just fyi for everyone. Good job Randy, as always. Bill

My only concern is that we have the GL's on one of my teamate's car (95 Neon) with the KYB GR-2's and the ride is shiet! I just dont want a super crappy ride.
On the other hand, I wanna be as low as I can go!
So, the Tanabe's and the LowDown's are the lowest spring out there?

How is the ride on the GL's? Compared to the TRD that I have now...anyone?

They will drop some more from where they are now. Mine settled in a week or two.

the ride on my GLs are great. The coils rub a little which cause a slight noise. I have to get some plastic tubing from GL and put them on the coils.

Anyone have that prob and know who to get a hold of?
