After my trip back from San Francisco, I noticed my car loosing a lot of power. Will not rev past 4000rpm and very hard to get to 90mph.
Acceleration is very slow and sluggish, car will not respond even when flored. I thought it needed a fresh oil change but it didn't make a difference.
What can be the problem? Please help.

Sounds like a fuel delivery problem... I don't own an xB yet but prehaps the fuel filter is plugged (perhaps you got some bad gas and it plugged the filter).
I'd have the dealer plug it in and see if there are any codes.
Perhaps this is a blessing in disguise...my guess is that if you hit something (or got hit by something) at 90 mph in an xB you'd be SOL...

sounds like another fuel delivery problem. hopefully you didnt get bad gas or anything because that could clog it. besides that, are your fuel injectors clean? spark plugs alright?

I had the same problem. I noticed after I had gone on a bumpy ride. Check to see if your air filter hose are connected and check to see if your air cleaner is not opened. That happened to me. Or even better get rid of your air box and go cold air intake. Talk to you later Plague..

Sounds like the ECU is in "limp mode". A number of things could cause this, most likely bad readings from an MAF or O2 sensor. Have a dealer check it out.
