I just need to know what kind of bulb or led's to get. I can't really see that well when reversing due to that fact that I have limo tints. Just wondering if there are any options available to me. Also want to know if the led's with 5 led's in them would be better seeing as they would utilize more of the reflector.

put some hids in them

no matter what bulbs you get,you wont see any better with that limo tint,i know my buddie had that on his car and he couldnt see anything,it was dangerous espicially in the dark, i actually had the leds on my tc and they were no better then stock,actually stock puts out more light output

LED light is very directional. The standard bulb will utilize more of the reflector since it is closer to an omnidirectional light source. You may be able to find a super high output led module that may work, but it will be more directional than what you have, so overall your visibility may not be that much better.

Running higher wattage bulbs means you may or may not be overheating the connectors and harness if you are using significantly brighter bulbs, since the harness is designed for the wattage bulbs that come stock. Most likely you will end up with dried up and cracked connectors and socket in the housing if you did find something much brighter.

You shouldnt have used limo tint on a street car.. that is your issue.

I actually have limo tints all around, because I have a doctors note. So I've been pulled over twice, but no tickets. It's mostly for show, but it's also nice to be able to see other people trying to look into the car.

yup put your windows down and looks at your side view mirrors,ive had white led reverse bulbs,yea there brighter in color but they were no good,i put the stock back in i saw so much better,not much you can do,remeber leds are for show,

just go all out and buy a double din and a back up camera

I think that's what you should be doing regardless of tint and reverse light brightness.

It's not "tints", tint is not plural.

I just got Sylvania Silverstar reverse lights today, really surprised on how bright they are. I've never seen a reverse light this bright. As far as reversing, use the side mirrors, you should be able to get a better judge of were the car is at with the sides then the rear.

If you set your side mirrors correctly for forward driving with zero blind spots then they dont work as well for backing up once you get close to something. You should not be able to see the side of the car in the side mirrors if you have them adjusted properly. At least not without leaning nearly against the window.

Just be careful man, I actually dont even have reverse lights because of the eyelids on my 08 tails. The only thing that makes me nervous is people not being able to tell that im in reverse, but i just take it real slow and easy....
