Just to get an idea of how wide you need to go. SoFloTC 08-01-2010, 11:33 PM dont think u can.. dont think they have them in 17's for 5x100 but i could be wrong tin 08-01-2010, 11:42 PM Just lurked WheelDude and yes they do. I dont know if they offer all the colors thos, i can be wrong too on that. Jon 08-01-2010, 11:44 PM You can get the 17x7.5: http://www.wheeldude.com/catalog/product_info.php?products_id=5582 I wouldn't just to save tires, but it's up to you. brittany1130 08-03-2010, 01:12 AM You can get the 17x7.5: http://www.wheeldude.com/catalog/product_info.php?products_id=5582 I wouldn't just to save tires, but it's up to you. are the stock scion rims 17x7.5? Jon 08-03-2010, 01:14 AM Yep. brittany1130 08-03-2010, 02:01 AM thanks for your help. i think i found the ones that i'm going to get 09SocalTC 08-03-2010, 02:12 AM rota girds with stock specs will look...how should i say...stupid. yellowxhoodie 08-03-2010, 02:18 AM buy new rims AND new tires. keep stock tires on stock rims in case. DONE. brittany1130 08-03-2010, 02:26 AM rota girds with stock specs will look...how should i say...stupid. i dont know much about tires so can you explain why it would be different if i got different tires.. i would appreciate all the advice i can get Jon 08-03-2010, 02:34 AM It's not the tires. It's just why buy wheels in the same dimensions as your stock wheels? If you're going to upgrade, increase the dimensions of your wheel set up and give the car a more aggressive look. You may not want to go to the extremes that some do, but a 18x8.5 wheel would look so much better than a 17x7.5. bluemex 08-03-2010, 12:33 PM or you can get 18x9.5 :lalala: RusWolf 08-03-2010, 02:05 PM i think you should defiantely upgrade your tires to something wider...stock tires are not that great and there is no point getting wheels to fit them. 10gxiong 08-03-2010, 02:55 PM The stock tires should be able to fit wheels with widths between 7-8 inches. brittany1130 08-03-2010, 04:25 PM I'm lowered with TRD springs which is about 1.5 inches would that matter though? If i got the 18's instead would i have to do anything else with it since it's not stock suspension? wowoweee 08-03-2010, 05:23 PM I'm lowered with TRD springs which is about 1.5 inches would that matter though? If i got the 18's instead would i have to do anything else with it since it's not stock suspension? im actually running the same setup with 18x9.5 grids with 225/40/18. Ride is not bad but you will still rub with a full load and on big bumps. Actually hoping to install my raceland coils and rolling my fenders soon. ack154 08-03-2010, 05:28 PM are the stock scion rims 17x7.5? Um... OEM tC wheels are 17x7, ET45. Not 7.5". brittany1130 08-03-2010, 06:41 PM Um... OEM tC wheels are 17x7, ET45. Not 7.5". ..thats exactly why i asked lol.. and so the other guy is wrong, he said they were 17x7.5. most likely i will just wait a little longer until i have the money to buy tires as well, thanks for the help everyone. 09SocalTC 08-03-2010, 07:38 PM the girds that where posted are 17x7.5 et48 thats only a 2mm difference from stock. 09SocalTC 08-03-2010, 07:43 PM these would look a lot better http://www.wheeldude.com/catalog/product_info.php?products_id=5868 decent cheap tires https://www.onlinetires.com/products/vehicle/tires/nankang/225%252F40-18+nankang+ns-ii+nankang+92h.html |
