Ok, I have the full TRD suspension (Shock & Springs) ... The ride is way too stiff for me ... I don't wanna buy a new suspension or anything right now.

My questions is if I put my stock shocks back on does anyone know if the ride will soften up at all?

Who has the TRD springs with STOCK Shocks, how is the ride?

the ride will be slightly better with the stock struts. The only way to improve it beyond that would be getting some Goldlines.

I think I may just put the stock shocks back on inthe front to try to soften up the front a little.

When you soften the ride it makes it a little more bumpier ... The TRD shocks are stiff so when you hit a bump they don't move up and down as much so the car stays pretty stable. This is good for racing ... For every day driving a little softer of a ride is better.

The proper term is Damper Rate ... Your full suspensions like the Tein SS have adjustable shocks where you can adjust the Damper from Soft to Firm/Stiff ... The TRD shock are NON-Adjustable ...

NY roads suck and a stiff ride is HORRIABLE with all the bumps and holes ... Thats also another reason why I want a softer ride.
Hope this helps.

When your ride is more stiff, your car will bounce up at a more similar rate to the bump. If it's softer, the shocks will dampen the rate, and make it not as sudden, but bounce more out of the bumps.

Adjustable shocks allow you to adjust that dampening rate, so when you want to have a more comfortable ride, you can put it on soft, but if you want to turn better, you can put it on firm. When your on full stiff, your car has a lot less body roll, so you don't lose traction and also don't feel like your car is gonna tip over, hence, allowing you to go through turns faster.

I have Koni Adjustable Shocks on my xA, and it's nice to have the option to run on soft or stiff at the turn of a knob.

Hope that helps.

I used to. It definitely won't be as stiff as you running on your TRD shocks. The ride will be a little more bouncy then sudden bumps. It won't take all the bumps away completely, but it'll put you in a good middle area of bouce and bump, and not sacraficing your TRD drop as well as lessen body roll.
