Default MA state laws aftermarket exhaust?

Just bought agency catback exhaust for my tc. Am I screwed? If ticketed, will that go on my insurance? Is it illegal?

if you get a ticket for a exhaust that has nothing to do with the insurance.ill go on your record depending on what kind of ticket and how its handled....any aftermarket exhasut is illegal besidies the ones that you get from the manufacture like TRD

well if u get pulled over and if the cop is nice, hell give you a fix it ticket if he thinks its to loud and you have like 24 hrs or so to get it fix and show proof to the court and most likely it wont go on your record.....but it could go in the opposite direction, the cop can give you a ticket for a loud exhasut and then you pay the ticket and thats all,but insurance isnt affected unless you get into a accident, thats what thats for.....but tickets depending on what kind it is and the mood of the cop........but if its your first offense and have a clean record youll most likely get a fix it ticket,

gotcha. is there anywhere i can look up the actual state law? i searched through other forums and it seems that half of the people say it is and half say it isn't a moving violation. worries me a bit.
