I just wanted to know and get opinions on either Cat back system better or just getting typical ol' muffler? Where can I find good quality products!

If I'm not mistaken catback replaces everything up to your header. Or at least your S-Pipe. Axelback is replacing everything after your mid pipe, which means pretty much a muffler and exhaust tip.

Axelback - Should give you the smooth sound you're looking for. Not much performance gain though. Not very loud but noticeable. VERY easy installation. And probably cheaper than catback.

Catback - More chance of getting rasp. Depending on what you get. By getting catback you are replacing your mid pipe, which has 2 large cylinder shaped things in it. I do know one of them is a catalyc converter and I've heard the other is a resonator, but I'm not sure. But replacing that mid pipe and not having to deal with the "2 large cylinder shaped things" will give you much better exhaust flow which would give you a better performance gain compared to an axelback system. Also catback will be louder than axelback. But if you're worried about emissions most catbacks have a cat converter.

So it's kind of up to you if you wanna risk having a bad sound but catback I think is the way to go you get sound and performance there are a lot of good systems out there.

x2, ive got the ebay deluxe, DME header(not actually crap) meagan mid pipe and s pipe, tsudo axle back, makes for a strange combination

Well I've always bought my parts off ebay but they are good quality stuff not cheap garbage. (TRD exhaust, Injen CAI, Megan headers, Megan s-pipe). But if I were you I would find a brand that I like and check out their website if they have one and order from them.

Ebay or on the PPC here, dont get a TRD, its great but like with all TRD parts you'll just end up wanting more later

That's pretty much as cheap as you'll find it.

And I have eBay piping on my Civic and just replaced the muffler, gets the job done just as well as any other exhaust would.

Word of advice...
Dont get a "muffler" If you going to get a exhaust system get a catback and If you dont have the money save up. Its well worth it.

i have a custom axel back exhaust.....its magna flow...i like the sound, it sounds sorta like thevideo previously posted but alittle jhigher tone, and prolly not as loud

the megan drift spec is hard to get,not the agency one cause not everyone can afford it like the drift spec,but they both look and sound similar minus the hardware and the color cannon,but ill go with the agency power if i were you,its loud but youll love it just be careful of the cops

I have been researching this also.I narrowed my choices down to either p-tuning axel back or dezod's n/a 2.5 catback which is only $589 I think.hope this helped

Go with the Agency Power. Fitment and quality is MUCH better.

I recently installed a megan spipe, and mid pipe with my TRD exhaust, and the fitment was kinda off, not to mention it took my friend and I a hell of a long time to get all the pipes and bolts to line up. As a result of the bad fitment, my exhaust tip is off center and sticks out farther than normal. if you buy a complete kit like the Agency Power, the fitment will be pretty much guaranteed.

not hating on megan racing or anything, just wish they would have made things line up a little better. ;)

i have there full exhaust exhaust the drift spec,everything lines up perfectly with no issues,now on the other hand never experience just the megans midpipe and there trd exhasut,

Catback is overrated. I would just piece together items that sound well together until you have a full exhaust setup. Go with an ebay s-pipe, Tsudo or Megan midpipe, and a TRD axleback.
