Has any one ever ordered a hood or anything from http://www.racingsolution.com/ ?? I ordered this hood here back around Dec. and got it right before Christmas to find out that's it's warped! I tried adjusting it every way I could but it was just warped. Anyway I e-mailed "Brian" at Racingsolution and let him know what was wrong. He said I had to put the hood back on and take pics. So I did that and sent him the pics. He e-mailed me back saying he would have to send the pics to the place that made the hood and he would get back with me on it. That was around Jan. or so. I'm getting a little fed up with waiting on this crap!! :tap: I need my hood!

Anyway here's the hood I ordered fom him:
http://www.racingsolution.com/showparts.asp?Part_Num=982&Function=DisplayPart

And here's the warped hood pics for anyone that whats to see them:

It may just be me, or the angle of the shot, but from that last pic, it looks like the bumper isn't straight, have you ever been in a wreck? If so, then that would cause the hood to not fit....if you haven't been in a wreck, boo on they're customer service

That's prolly the angle of the pic. Here's some pics I took about a week ago with better angles:

You got to remember that this is one of how many he has sold. Not all of the hoods are like this. Brian can only work as fast as his vendors are. Brian is a good guy and he's not going to screw you.

Yeah you're right. That's about the just of it. I know there can be "bad" hoods every once and a while just like anything else. But it's been 2 months and nothing. But also if ya'll say he's a good guy, I feel a little better about that. He runs a business, I know how that can be sometimes.

Was just notified of this thread.. First off.. I've been trying and trying over and over again to get ahold of the manufacturer of this hood.. The manufacturer is Custom Carbons and it seems they are impossible to get a hold of for some reason. LowProMofo... I am always quick to answer your emails regarding this issue and tell you each time I am trying to get this issue resolved .. Please bare with me.. I have not blown you off.. I am continuing to work on this

Custom Carbons recently posted a new contact phone number.. apparently they're moving into a new warehouse..

I spoke to Gary at Custom Carbons and let him know the situation.. we're going to arrange a pickup of the hood you currently have.. I've emailed him the pictures you sent me.. and once he receives the hood and inspects it, then we will get the new hood shipped out. Again, I will definately keep you posted.

Thanks Brian, I've seen you on here lots of times before I bought the hood and figured you and your company were cool. It's just been 2 months, that all. I know how things can go with this stuff or any other company for that matter. It's cool, just do what you can.

I know, I apologize for the long time this is taking. The biggest issue now is with Custom Carbons.. they're being sticklers telling me that the hood has to be unmodified (meaning no drilling or alterations done to it) and in good condition when its shipped back to them.. "good" meaning no shipping damage to the already crappy product they shipped. I'm hoping there are no issues with this.. if there are.. then I will give you your refund IN FULL and then take them to small claims court.

I think someone in quality control fell asleep on the job. Isn't there a jig that they check them on before they get shipped out??? Something this bad, I'd just ship out the new one then have the customer send back the old one. I feel so bad for you Bro!
