So I was wondering if the First Gen had any mud guards?

My co-worker saw a xB meet and told me lots of xB1's had mud guards?

Last time that I looked, NO. JDM versions of our cars, the BB and Runion and others, do have a mud flap, but it fits the JDM side skirt only.

I want mud flaps and the grass skirt stuff that you see in truck wheel wells to reduce spray.

 

I have seen one or two xBs in the states with mud guards. I asked one guy, he said he made them out of the PVC plastic found in cheap squarish trash cans. There are four sides, and they flex easily... attached with pop rivets. With enough heat, you can even custom mold them however you want.

 

I wish they had some cool ones for us to buy, like with girls on them or "Toyota" lol.

 

I guess my only luck for now is waiting until I spot another bB. Does anyone know if the xB2 mud guards might work?

I had a set of JDM (Gen1) ones back in the day. The part # is 08414-52010 and they came pre-painted. Appears my pictures are no longer in my profile but I'm sure if you did a search you might find my original post on them.

I had a 91 or 92 Acura Legend that had some filthy guards on em...shoulda taken them things off actually.

im thinking some chicken wire, a 8 ball and some sneakers...FAAANTASTIK..wait-what are we talking about?>

 

if somebody made some then they would have to be ultra flexible. those things would break off pretty easily on really low cars i would think.

 

Maybe we can use the second gen mud guards?
