ugly_duck 03-01-2005, 11:31 PM the actual scion website www.scion.com? I didnt know they offered a roof rack ill check it out.
Nobrakes 03-02-2005, 07:08 AM I have the yakima Rack on my xB and Love it, makes it So much easier to get the bike around. I saw someone the other day that had Rails installed and then the rack attached to that and that looked Great! Wish I had gone that route but I like the ability to remove it as well. I'll try to get a few pics Tomorow
ThunderGod 03-02-2005, 07:45 AM i would like to put this on top of my xB. (mind the bike)

ugly_duck 03-10-2005, 05:14 PM I get the gist, is that the rack listed on scion.com. a part number would be awesome if you have one. BTW what do you ride?
Nobrakes 03-10-2005, 10:07 PM Well I got mine from Sport chalet not Scion, so Im not sure of the #'s but I have the viper Bike rack, you should be able to get all the #'s for your car at www.yakima.com and there is a fit your rack link on there site. thats how I got it all, if you have any issues hit me back and Ill see if I can dredge them up.
eatsomenacho 03-15-2005, 07:01 PM How much did you pay for the setup at Sport Chalet?
Nobrakes 03-15-2005, 07:15 PM Ummm Im not exactly sure because it was a christmas present from my parents but it was cheaper than teh dealer and they had everything that I wanted, no ordering. you can go to www.sportchalet.com for there info, or there is a company that is in coasta mesa, ca that specializes in nothing but racks and they also have everything. If I can find there name I will post it
eatsomenacho 03-15-2005, 08:44 PM Cool thanks man, I'm still trying to decide between getting a roof system or a hitch system. All I want is a simple way to get some bikes around. I don't think the roof racks look as nice on the BSP as they do on the other colors IMO.
Oh what to do, what to do....
Nobrakes 03-15-2005, 09:14 PM well here is something that might help you decide. I just took my rack off and where the mounts go right where the door seals the mounts rubbed or something, I mean the rack was tight and didnt move whrn I tested it but when I took it off there was 2 chips in the paint, Im not sure if this is somehting I did or the rack wasnt on 100% perfect but Ouch I need to go get some touch up paint. :tap:

Here you go

Im still figuring this out too but you have to put the actual location of the Image not the page the image is on if you go to that page right click and click propertied to get the location url of the Image. hope that helps
retail 03-16-2005, 04:38 PM this is my SARIS rack http://www.scionlife.com/gallery/data/500/11287xB_03_small.jpg
since it's too cold to ride right now i don't have the bike holders and fairing in place, but you get the gist :D
ugly_duck 03-16-2005, 04:44 PM Do these racks scratch the hell out of your door sills?? Ive never seen a rack up close and i'd hate to mangle my paint. Its subpar as is.
Nobrakes 03-16-2005, 05:33 PM well I decided pics are worth a thousand words so here you go, Im considering getting rails put on to mount my rack to. I really like the look of the rack but not the damage it causes to our thin, thin, did I say thin paint
