I know this has probably been asked before but the only one I ever see anyone ever discuss is the wings west one which is pretty ugly and expensive :/

I think the first two are the same.
IMO there are zero "roof" spoilers that look decent on the tC. Mostly due to the fact that the tC does not have a painted roof. So if you get a color matched one, it looks out of place stretching across the all black of the roof. Even a plain black one would look odd b/c it breaks up the lines of the car...

I have the 3rd one it'll be going to the paint shop along with my lip kit and lip spoiler(hatch) to get painted this week if not next week. I did a test fitment it looks good on it. Once everything is painted and installed I'll post pics up

Yea no prob. man, I was thinking of getting the Kami spoiler but I decided to get the lip spoiler instead.I think it'll flow a little better with it than the Kami.cause it doesn't stick out as much.I'm still waiting for the spoiler to get to my house to take everything in one shot to paint.

i would think the 3rd one was a good compliment for the kami flush spoiler but the pictures show that the top part is straight and doesnt flow with the curve of the roof window.

And I agree with you...that angle just isn't doing it for me. I wonder if you could cut the sides so the angle is less aggressive and more streamline with the car.

i would say u would need the kami flush mount to make it less noticable and stream with it, cause with just a lip spoiler it will stand out alot

Wouldn't the roof spoiler get in the way of opening the trunk though. It looks like the spoiler would hit the glass from the rear moon roof when the trunk is open.

i'm actually working with a guy (in walnut for socal people) to make one for the tC. we got a sample in last week, but it looked too duckbill; it angled up too much to compliment the body lines, so he's gona re-do it. other than the angle though, fitment is perfect, opening/closing the hatch is no problem. I had the sample on for a bit, but only looked half-decent with the sunroof tilted/open, so it's somewhere in my car. I'm looking forward to the 2nd sample to get shipped over.

I have this perfect roof spoiler in mind, i just havent seen one that fits my taste.
My buddy has a S14 with a roof spoiler and a wingless trunk; the ____ looks baller.
The spoiler i have in mind is color matched, with little or no flip up; more or less just an extension rearwards of the flat top of the roof line.
Maybe 5-7" long :lol:

it will probably go into production once we get a sample we both like. the dude def knows what he's doing, he produced one for the sc, and once i got mine and posted up on clublexus, he's been constantly out of stock. I sent a G35coupe his way to test fit a roof visor he was producing for the g coupe, and it looked perfect and the g35 owner loved it. we actually used the g35 one as a base for the tC one since the bodies are more or less similar.
also, I've found lip spoilers really compliment the roof visors, so kami flushmount may go pretty well with it.
Just as a note, what he makes isn't really a roof spoiler, as much as it is a roof visor, since it's made out of the weathertech visor-like, darkly-tinted, slightly-transparent acrylic, so it'll actually go better with the tC's glass roof than other cars with painted roofs.

i'm not gonna guarantee that I'll have the roof visor any time soon, as it took about 3 months of waiting from the time he took measurements to the time I got the sample, and I'm not even sure we'll be happy w/ the 2nd sample.
i'll definitely be updating sl when i get it in though.

A straight side profile shot of the whole car I think will help best to show how it flows with the body lines. Close ups doesn't really help sell, leaves a lot of doubts. That applies to anybody even sellers of these spoilers that want to get these sold.

He's giving the green light to the factory to start production on it as we speak, so I'd say another month or so and he'll have a shipment of em.

I don't know the price at this time, he seemed unsure when I asked him, but my best guess is $100 local, maybe +$10-20 for shipping. I'll be sure to ask him when he gets his shipment sometime in November.

please don't misunderstand, i'm not here to make every current roof spoiler owner to switch over, just wanted to introduce a potential alternative. There are more differences; whereas yours is probably painted fiberglass or frp, this is a thin acrylic, comparable to weathertech/avs visor. it's darkly tinted so it's just barely transparent. unfortunately that tends to crank up the price a bit (not sure how much yours cost), but in the end it's all personal preference. subtlety is my thing and this fits it well.
I'm kinda kicking myself now since I have a stock(ebay) lip spoiler lying around in my garage that I was gonna put on to see how it flows w/ the visor, but completely forgot. dammit.

He was actually showing me how he wrapped a g35 one up in cf since he used one of my friend's g35 coupes to sample and test-fit on. he was saying he might do the same w/ a few tC ones so that option may be available. A lot of the details that I'm unsure off (which is pretty much every detail) will be cleared up once he actually gets the shipment.
As for a GB, if he wants to do it, I'll start to set it up when the eta gets closer, though I'm not really sure if I can w/o any kinda vendor/sponsor membership bullcracks. If anything, I'll do it on another site.
