I just got the car repainted a couple weeks ago and i noticed a had orange peel over the car. What can be done about this? I dont wanna do it myself, just because im no pro and i dont wanna mess up the paint. LMK where i can take it and what i can do
yeah i know but is that when the clear coat is not smooth and slick? if so you need some black sand paper that requires water and get the size 1000 or 1500 i believe and sand it. then some rubbing compound..but still though man why didnt you complain when you seen it..i used to work at a body shop and customers never liked the "orange peel"

Yea its when you cant really see your reflection smooth and it looks sort of not clear. I know but i dont wanna do it. I would of but i got it done in TJ and i had to go back home for work. And it being 4 hours away i didnt notice the orange peel till now.
lol damnnn sucks man..what color is your car?..and its all over the car or just on the plastic bumpers? either than that its pretty basic to fix it..you could even go with the softest sand paper that of course will take longer but you wont mess it up as bad if you fail to do it

Its super white. Hmm i have to check if its all over. Parts that i noticed were in the doors the rear fenders, a little on the hood. Have to check. How much do you think it would cost here for a body shop to take it off, rough estimate?

yeah but since my dad worked with me he taught me how..well it takes a long time because you have to sand the whole car down and you cant beat around the bush or else its gonna look like crap..yeah they know how to do it but they get sneaky and lazy to do the sanding part..yeah i would of done it if you were more local
yeah i mean it is something that you can do on your own...but expect to do it allll day long on a nice sunny day. i remember FLEA/Kennon told me that he wetsanded his entire car just to get rid of the orange peel that comes from the factory!
