Default Want to turbo my tc and other upgrades, budget 10k

Hi guys, I want to finally upgrade my car with everything I've ever wanted to do to it and I want to get it done in one foul swoop. I've set a budget of $10,000 for everything. (not including labor)

I am hoping that you guys can steer me in the right direction and make sure I'm getting the most for the money.

I have a stock tc 2007 BSP auto transmission. I have a goal of at least 280hp. I am VERY concerned with aesthetics both inside and outside and also in the engine bay. I would prefer any turbo kit come with as many black components as possible. Not knocking anyone else's preferences, but I am not a fan of chrome or other colored pipes and what not in the engine.

Here is my list of components so far. I am hoping you guys can make sure my list of parts is both compatible with each other, and perhaps offer other suggestions. Thanks. I'm also looking for any suggestions on shops in the Phoenix, AZ area that can do the labor and tuning. If you know any let me know!

Grills:
GrillCraft MX Series Upper Mesh Grille $120
GrillCraft MX Series Lower Mesh Grille 3pc $150

Carbon Fiber:
Seibon OEM Carbon Fiber Hatch / Trunk $600
Seibon OEM Carbon Fiber Hood $450

Coilovers:
Tein Basic Damper Coilover Kit $950
with pillowball upper mount

Sway bars:
front strut bar
rear strut bar

Engine:
radiator cover shroud
upgraded radiator
ptuning turbo kit (bolt on version)
OR DESCENDANT Ver2.0 Scion tC Turbo Kit maybe

Exhaust:
upgraded exhaust (ptuning I like the most so far, I'm looking for something that has a nice deep rumble with as little rasp as possible)

Brakes:
Wilwood Superlite 4-Piston Front Big Brake Kit, black calipers $1350
Stoptech Drilled & Slotted Rear Brake Rotors $220
Stoptech Stainless Steel Front Brake Lines $80
Stoptech Stainless Steel Rear Brake Lines $80

Wheels:
I'm thinking TRD 18", but I haven't decided yet. I figure max budget of about $2000 for all 4 wheels.

Tails:
OEM tails (i like them better)
3rd brake light upgrade (red)

Headlights:
2008/2009 oem headlights (i like the oem's more than any other aftermarket look)
HID upgrade

Why would you buy Stoptech rotors when the Wilwood kit comes with ungraded rotors?

i believe the turbonetics kit is discontinued and the V 2.0 kit comes with all black piping and couplers so that would go well with your theme, but it sounds like you are on the right track good luck with everything hopefully everything turns out how you want it

Ptuning, Dezod, Descendant are the only turbo kits you should consider.

1. Get pillowball mounts for your Tein Basics.
2. EDFC for your Tein Basics.
3. Do a manual transmission swap. Altogether might cost you 3 bills.
4. Get a decent clutch.

Since your looking for black piping. Ptuning offers a really nice kit. Descendant utilizes the stock intake.

If you get the Descendant turbo kit get their exhaust also. If you call Rob he will give you a discount on the whole setup.

Oh and 10k is enough to build everything on the car. Don't worry about swapping transmissions like the fanbois _____ about on here there is nothing wrong with turbo auto.

As far as interior goes just put in some Clazzios and call it a day.

Sorry, the front rotors from stoptech are left over from before I added the big brake kit. I'll remove them.

Also, I'm not swaping my transmission. I do not like manual's. Once again, not knocking anyone else but that's just not what I prefer.

After looking more closely at the turbo kits I was leaning towards either the ptuning (as suggested) or the descendant. I really like the ptuning exhaust, and it will be fully bolt on to the ptuning turbo kit.

I do have a question about the intercooler for the turbo. Every kit I can find comes with a polished intercooler. Is there anyway I can anodize it black? Same question for the upgraded radiator.

from what I read i'd recommend at least an oil cooler for your trans. Also, you know that you can have non-black parts painted/powdercoated/anodized, right?

We can have both your intercooler and radiator anodized black if you purchase through us. Not a problem.

you wont need SS brake lines because BBK's always come with upgraded brake lines. and i know to each his own, but you can get lots better wheels for cheaper thant he TRD 18" and definately get a tranny cooler since you're going to go a/t

I dont think the wilwood kit comes with lines. They list that as a separate part on their website.

I hope your not now planing to pass 250 cause that tranny won't last. 280 is to high for that tranny.

Dezod, Descendant, and PTuning are all nice kits. I would say whatever you do get a tuner kit so you can get a nice EMS. Dezod tuner kit + 2k EMS or Descendant tuner kit + 2k EMS = just the PTuning spec SS (comes with FIC). That's just my opinion though. It's going to be pretty awesome doing everything at once! Good luck!

I was at 11psi for a long time and at 15 off and on with my auto and the engine blew before the trans. Granted my trans slips now but not enough to warrant a rebuild or a swap in the immediate future.

What is the stock boost? And what is the reccommended boost for a turbo auto trans?

I will be using the car for 95% daily driving and 5% red light/highway fun when some knucklehead is trying to show off.
Dezod says the auto turbo kit comes with a trans cooler, so then just an oil cooler is needed.

I'm selling my consulting business and taking a portion of the money to do everything I've ever wanted to do to my car.

Call Dezod when they're open and they will happily drop some knowledge on you 7166816666 (Dezods business number). They're good peeps and I don't even have a Dezod kit I have a Turbonetics, but they've helped me a lot.

Absolutely nothing else is needed if you get the Dezod kit. 6psi and your golden or if you want more kick go to 8psi. Call them if you want better info, they do have the best bang for your buck turbo kit out there.
