I got black, because I was head over heels for the Blackmafia Design bB. And since the cars nickname is black Box it seemed appropriate.

I got the camo. I like the dynamics of the Paint in different Lighting. AH plus I like camo damn it

I got the Hot Lava on order, I like the color of it besides I had a hard time trying to find a color that I wanted. I wanted something hardly anyone had, hints the Hot Lava.

Any who though dont worry about what your friend says, if thats the color you wanted then I dont see nothing wrong with it. You cant keep everyone happy.

my wife has the silver and its great for hiding dirt.
i have the cherry, its nice but i wish that i would have gotten the camo.

i got polar white and its the best for the desert. well at least the desert here with white dust that blows all over dark colors and makes them too dirty too quick. plus the white makes the car look bigger on some sort of good way.

black sand pearl (in freshly detailed state) is the best looking color on the car in my opinion but its just too hard to keep up the flawlessness here.

camo or thundercloud are the only other colors that can work in the desert.

I was looking either for a camo, but if they didn't have one I would have got the blue. But after my dealership called others to see if they had any in they traded and I got mine. I really wouldn't settle for less. When I baught my truck all they had was a white one and I wanted a blue one. I never really liked the white and thats why I wont settle for a color that I dont want.

I got black because IMO black looks sexy. :wink: WAY hard to take care of though. If you're looking for ease of maintenance then go with white. Just depends on what you want.

Is there really any other color other then Hot Lava? Since the new Z came out, i wanted that color on anything, but at the time i was willing to settle for the Black Cherry on the xB. Thanks to this site, i found out about the RS1, so now i have my metallic orange car, a dream come true. :D

i went with blue from the outset... after seeing the camo in person coz' i love green, and the camo green is pretty unique, it made do a quadruple take... but i stuck with my guns...

i'll have to concur with all the dark color scion owners... it's a b!tch to keep clean... just a light drizzle the last two days and my box looks jacked... :(

NO OFFENSE to the release edition kids(great package great idea) but hot lava makes me think of jennifer lopez. sure its kinda different and exciting in comparison to the more "average" colors. sure its "LIMITED" but you do have to live with the color once you own it. and i think it might get really easy to get really tired of the color. just like it would be really easy to get tired of jlo and all the shennangins she brings to the table.thats just me though. im not hatin on it or anything cause im resolved to be positive about whatever reasonable things people do or own on this site.

I have the Black Cherry pearl but to me the color that stands out the most is the BLUE. I love my choice but being the car is different than anything here in the states, the nice rich blue makes the icing sweet.

I chose the Hot Lava. Not only did I choose the Hot Lava for exclusivity in Color but an automobile that most people in NE Texas will only see one or two of, I figure they might as well see the most exclusive color yet.

Of course the most basic reason is it stands out in a parking lot, man do I hate searching for my Montreal Blue Z3 in a mall parking lot.

i got the camo....I liked the silver best, but the wait was too long so I said forget it! At first I felt like I was settling, but now I'm glad I went with it because it's such an awesome color.

Like LVXB, I got Polar White. Easy to keep clean and you can't go wrong with it.

I am getting the Thundercloud because I think it's the easiest to keep looking clean. Also, IMHO I think that the other (darker) colors sortof "hide" features in cars, whereas the silver is reflective so it shows off all the car. Does that make sense? :D

At around the time i bought mines, Thundercloud was the most in demand and hardest to find. I love this color and still think it is the single best in the lineup.

If I did it all over again I might have chosen white. Nothing looks better with a carbon fiber hood / wing or bronze rims than white

I picked up the Blue ... and yes, it is a bit of work to keep looking good, but it looks damn good when it's clean.... almost went with the thundercloud but my camry was silver so I wanted something different.

5, 6 years from now when ( if ) im ready to trade the rs1 in, that makes it all the more valuable, for its rarity. Its not like its a Skittles color, lime green, prissy pink, or powder blue, but metallic orange, that changes from brillant shades of orangish yellow, to dark amber in low light. You show me another color that can do that, that is offered stock ( not paying for an aftermarket paint job ) and ill show you a car that always gets the looks and applause... unlike JLo.

I think black or blue looks the coolest...but I'm planning on getting White (or possibly the silver....maybe...leaning more towards white though...) because it won't show dirt, scratches, or chips as bad as other colors. Plus, 1. the interior can get REALLY dadgum hot during Texas summers, 2. I have a soft spot for white since my first car was white, and 3. it just looks cool on the xB. :)

the orange is the best color, but got maintence silver and white would be the best.

truth of the matter is that all the colors rock... but I have to say Longo's yellow bus made the biggest impression on me, it really stands out...
Our Scion's aren't like some cars that only look good in certain colors.

shhhh all of the hot lava lovers should keep our mouths closed!! if we spread the word about how cool they are, then somebody down your street might get one!! wouoldnt that be horrible!? i was thinkin how tight it'll be pullin up into the parking lot at school, but then i thot how bad it'd be if somebody else had one too!! ahh
