Before you yell at me and call me a noob or anything i personally do not own a scion, i have a modded wrangler so im not a complete idiot and am extremely mechanically inclined. I am trying to help out my girlfriend. She has an 07 tC and wants foglights in the lower grille and wants a badgeless upper...I have been searching for a matching upper to the oem style honeycomb pattern and couldnt find anything...can you guys help me out finding a matching "mesh" or similar style grille.

 

there are no aftermarket grills that have the same honeycomb desigh as stock. your best bet is to get a VRD grill kit and replace both upper and lower grills OR you can get a oem lower grill and cut it out to fit the chrome ring on the upper grill and make your own badgeless grill. there are lots or diy write-ups on doing that..

 

does the vrd kit have the holes for the lights though, and if it was up to me the first thing i would do is cut the bottom for the top but her dad is a mechanic and will kill meif i cut a courner or anything like that.

 

doesnt fig or trdsparks.com sell a fog light grill..? but IMO i would go with vrd grills and apt/vrd fogs they look the best..once again thats my opinion..but try trdsparks or fig grill fogs..there spendy thou..

 

figure sells complete matching sets of grills for the upper and lower grill, with or without fog lights and even for the side vents.

 

yea the vrd has the grill kit for the tc's with oem foglights. they dont sell that whole bottom piece with the foglights tho. you'd have to order that seperate frome the dealer or ebay

 

you should just get the vrd fog lights and the grill kit

 

u can get the vrd grilles for 100 on ebay

and apt for 80

so for 180 you will have a really nice look
