im about to install my stechs on my tc. do i need to cut the bump stops?

No you don't NEED to.
It does however give the strut alittle more travel to decrease the "bumpy-ness" of driving.

Its really up to you.

your shocks will live longer if u leave them alone. the more the shock/strut travels the more wear n tear u get. car might be bump as ish but your car will thank u for it later

im on stechs mounted on stock shocks. i didnt cut the bump stops at all, just left them the way they are. the ride is pretty good still, runs really smooth. only time is when the road is bumpy, i kinda feel it more that usual. but its all good.

agree with speedy, the more the travel, the faster the strut will wear out
