im thinking about buying some rods and pistons but really dont know what to get. looking to do no more than 400-425hp any recommendations? i also want to know if after i buy the parts would i need to get the block machined? i want to keep the pistons at stock bore but i want to know what is best. thanks. im a noob sorry for the dumb questions.:confused:

its always best to get your block machined to your new pistons. talk to your machine shop and see what they say. as for parts., i'm not sure what to say, just research and see what people like.
