I was wondering if any one has a brand of universal muffler they recomend, I'm not looking for a cat-back or anything, just a nice sounding muffler and tip. Any info on what brand or where to purchase would be great.

are you looking for a universal fit muffler, cuz basically all mufflers are universal. or are you looking for a knock-off brand muffler. cuz a hks carbon-titanium is still a universal muffler. and thats $300. or you can go cheaper and get a apexi n1 for $200

I'm looking for something for about $100 nice sound, 2.25 inlet, with a single slant cut tip.

Magnaflow is the only wa to go... Unless you are silly and want a fart-can... then theres plenty of 3A racing, BOMZ and Ractive crap on ebay, just don't think that anyone will respect you after you install one.

magnaflow is not the ONLY way to go. there are other brands out there. might as well save up a little more and get a name brand. just dont go getting a knock-off

If you are looking for something different so you dont sound ricey more of a deep sound go with a flowmaster. They have several different styles to chose from. They give out great performance and personally I like the deep sound it gives off instead of the tin can sound.

If you're only replacing the muffler, just get the cheapest, nicest looking one and you're set.
