Same plug same bracket.. no modified needed.. i will take some pic tomorrow for those who has doubt about this unit being plug n play.

Just wanted to know what the difference is between the stock unit and the premium. I have an 07.

Is it going to do anything if I run the premium head unit with stock/ close to stock speakers?

As far as the looks, you can change color from Amber to BLUE, you can change the background image.It has RCA cable output for subs, on '07 stock unit doesnt have those i also have the '07 stock radio with stock speaker, but after i put the premium one, i was happy with the sound quality..

Wow can't believe this hasn't sold, I paid close to 400 for mine 2+ years ago and don't regret it at all.

Direct plug n play, iPod interface, customizable background images and videos, better sound quality, better looks and cheap price.

Somebody buy this unit before I buy it and sell it for more somewhere else.

Sorry for the noob questions but what kind of ipod connection did you use? Would I need to use the icelink or can I go the cheap way and just get the $5 dollar cable?

i didnt use any ipod connection/any ipod..

It uses the stock iPod harness, there's a plug that sits right in front of the AUX jack, there is a plug already in back of the cd player that you gotta plug in, it's wrapped up in felt from the stock cd player harness. And there is a plug already below the AUX harness, you just plug in the new iPod jack. I paid like $15 for mine on eBay a couple years ago. Connects iPhones, iPods, just won't charge iPhones after the edge iPhone.

Will this be essentially plug and play if upgrading from the '09 base stereo (which I believe is the same as the '08 base stereo)? No new harnesses or anything? If yes I'm 95% sure I'd take it off your hands.

Fits any Scion any year, and probably most 2000+ toyotas. It lights up blue or orange, I have mine in my 06 xB. Seriously somebody buy this from this guy, you can't go wrong.

yah recently i change the gauges and hvac to blue, sadly i have to let it go.. on ther hand my brother's nav system has blue lights so thats working ok with me.
