i heard you can change the background of the alpine system on the xD to a different picture or a short video. how do you load one up and save it on the system??
and where can you get pictures that you can use?

 

you can download the software online to load more to a cd to save onto the cd player and use you own pics too i believe, i downloaded it but never have used it, you have the t1809?

 

do you know what site that has the software cuz i cant find anything...
and i dont know which one i have.. whichever one comes in the xd

I have the upgraded alpine, i don't think you can change it... not 100% sure though.

I have actually spoken with an Alpine tech on the phone about this. Though it is possible to change the background on most current Alpine products, he explained that since Toyota didn't indicate a desire for this particular feature in the unit, Alpine didn't include it. Toyota got specifically what they requested and nothing extra when it came to the development and production of the unit.
