That's a poor argument... Shang - what's your question? Are you asking what kind of oil to use? Are you asking what the oil is? The manual will tell you the range the oil should be (75w-90 or something). I once had a rattle develop in the front left of a nearly new Ford Ranger. One of the lug nuts had backed off completely. I had a truck deposit a rim and tire in my yard as he passed one time. Tranny fluid should be bathing your differential as well. Capacities should be in the manual, right? Fill-to-spill is a good rule of thumb, just make sure the car is level. :wink: Rion 03-28-2005, 07:44 AM It's a front wheel drive car. We have transaxles, which means that, with the manual at least, the differential and transmission are in the same case, it's like one piece. Differentials and manual transmissions both use gear oil. You can find it at any auto supply store. bB384 03-28-2005, 08:52 AM Actually I was planning on doing this sometime this week so I might as well ask now...What viscosity should we use? whats the capicity?
