So, my current tires are getting thoroughly shredd-y and I'm shopping for new ones; I'm currently riding on 205/60R16s, and kinda liking it; I've been looking at these:

http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires.jsp?tireMake=Bridgestone&tireModel=Turanza+Serenity&partnum=06HR6TS&vehicleSearch=false&fromCompare1=yes

Any opinions? Also, open to suggestions for alternatives, as long as I'm not changing the wheel size (liking my rims :) )

Thank you!

Im running 205/55/16 Dunlop 8000's. been phenomenal tires so far, and were at a pretty good price. they are summer tires though, not all seasons, so best in warm weather and rain

xDtool,

Thanks; alas, I'm in Colorado, so putting summer tires on at the end of October doesn't sound like a great idea - my bad, I should've probably mentioned that before :)

Well, I went a-searchin' and discovered Costco has $70 off of Michelins 'till early November, so I got myself these:

http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires.jsp?tireMake=Michelin&tireModel=Primacy+MXV4&partnum=06HR6MXV4P&vehicleSearch=false&fromCompare1=yes

~$500 mounted, balanced w/ pressure sensors.

I'm riding on 195-60R16, which is a pain in the arse to find anywhere. The dealer wants $170 a piece for new ones. These are factory tires, mind you. Ugh. The limited options available is really ____ing me off. I can't afford new tires/rims to get something more widely available.

you could just get some different sized 16" tires. just a little wider may get you some easier results.

any other tire size is better than out factory ones. wider ones would not only be cheaper but also look better.. maybe go with 55 instead of 60 lol

I don't think different sized 16" tires would fit my rims, would they?

I'm kind of car-tarded. lol

You would be surprised at what would fit...

all tire sizes have a rim width range that they will fit, and bead comfortably.

Just figure out what size you want to run.

I use Rim and Tire Calculator (http://www.rimsntires.com/rt_specs.jsp) to get similar rim spec's to the stock tire so you can add tread width, remove sidewall and get a cheaper tire without making the speedometer wrong or looking like those idiots in chevy silverados with tires way to small for their trucks that everyone has seen at least once in their lives.

then when shopping for tires, If you use the "compare selected tire" feature on tire rack, they actually spec the rim width range for you so you can double check to make sure your tire is a good size.
