Talking My rear hatch struts are dying

I need to replace the gas struts that hold up the hatch on my 2005 xB.

I've searched online and locally around SSF but I can't find a place that carries replacement rear hatch struts other than this:

http://www.trademotion.com/partlocat...layCatalogid=0

Does anyone know a place in the SF Bay Area or online that sells a pair for less than $260?

I've heard that the strut is the same as the Celica and the TC but I'm not sure.

Any info will be much appreciated!

I remember seeing a listing for replacement xB hatch struts made by Stabilus. It was around $30 each but i believe you had to reuse the original mounting brackets.

Here is that listing: http://www.discount-auto-parts-store..._64678stb.html Can't guarantee the accuracy of the info there though.

Here's a better place to go. trdsparks.com This is the link to the Toyota HD Struts on our site and it's only $44.90 for a pair. http://www.trdsparks.com/displaypart...&parts_id=1070
