Im getting ready to relocate my batteries to the trunk and I was wondering if anybody knew the correct gauge to use. Im switching my stock battery out for two odysseys if that makes any difference as to which size I would go with.

Thanks in advance!

I ended up going with 2 gauge. I called a bunch of stero shops and thats what they suggested consistantly but I dont know why I didnt think of welding cable *Face Palm*

Just remember that welding cable and stereo power cable do not carry the same amount of current. Stereo power cables have many more strands of wire than welding cable and carry more current. Generally if you are going to use welding cable you want to bump up the gauge one size.

2 gauge is easy, just run it down the drivers side along the base of the sil where it meets the floor. I've got 0/1 running in mine.
