I just picked up a 2011 TC. This is my second TC. I had a Super White 2006, then traded it in for a 2008 Acura TL. I really liked what they did with the new model. Especially the 6 speed. Here's a couple of pics.

black is sexy but i personally am stuck on the cement color!!! i think the first gen would look amazing in cement.

I agree, my dealership had the Super White, Cement, And Black. I almost got the Cement until I saw them side by side. I just really liked the black. I think it will sell as good as the black.

Not sure yet. Nothing crazy. This is my daily driver. I have a 90 5.0 hatch sitting in the garage for a toy. I installed a carPC in my TL but don't think I'm putting it back in here. I'm thinking about adding the Blu Logic kit.

Black definitely looks he best on the new model. I missed the storage space that the TC offers, throwing hockey equipment in the back or making a run to Lowe's. Not to mention the TL was automatic, I got bored with it. I needed new tires soon anyway. LOL

Weren't the TL auto tranny's plagued with issues anyhow?

Not really sure. They are known to have battery problems. A bunch of people I know had their batteries replaced that were less than 2 years old.

Does anyone know how to turn off the beep when you lock the doors? It says take it to the dealer, but there has to be a way.

Also what about the seat belt beep trick? I did it for the TC1 years ago.

I've seen lot of people hating the car on forums,
but everyone who saw mine in real life found it awesome!

That spoiler helps the back end to not look as weird. Then again, it may grow on me like the 1st gen tails did.

I opted out of the spoiler. Not a fan of lip spoilers anyway. I always liked the pedastal spoiler offered on the 1st gen. At least Kaminari is stepping up to where Toyota failed and creating another spoiler.

In the 1st gen, there was a sequence with turniing the ignition to ACC and pressing the tachometer display button. But I can't really remember it.

But I opted to play with those black-colored features (full roof and especially pillars) to bring out some contrast. Wouldn't go any other color personally.

I had hesitation moments between white and black,
then black won my heart, but white was still looking real good!

I'd be on the fence between pure white and gloss black for so long that the 3rd gen TC would be out by then lol. I love them both but in FL I suppose white would be the better option and I also agree with the pillars being blacked out on white. It gives it a "cockpit" look like the Nissan GT-R with the shoulders it has as well. Either way, a great looking car that keeps growing on me. That concrete color looks neat too but it's not my choice of color. The only color I cannot stand on any car is silver. It's just boring in my opinion. Well, beige sucks too but that goes without saying lol.

I had a NBM 07 tC before I bought my 2011. I am much happier with the gloss black. Not to mention, when I had my NBM, I could never find parts for sale that were paint matched on Scionlife. Everyone either had black or white...

You guys suck I want a 2nd gen!!!!!!

I installed the mud guards, auto dimming mirror, and blu logic this weekend. All went in relatively easily. Probably an hour for everything. This new TC is one of the easiest cars to take apart to install electronics. The radio cover pulls off and (4) 10 mm bolts hold it in. It can't get much easier then that.

i wasn't a fan of new tC's........until i saw the black! omg it's so sexy!!!!! great choice!
