anybody else got hid on their tc2?
for some reason the cut off line doesn't seem very clean and has weird shapes... just wondering if anyone that has hid have similar opinion
i'll try to post something that shows the cut off line against the wall soon
but IMO it does look much better than the stock halogens...
any suggestions?

if the manufacturer claimed it was 6000k, they lied.

6000k is white

thats closer to 10-12000k

It's hard to get a good pic of lighting, it's just looks so blue that's hard to think it's 6000K. Wouldn't a 55W make it look whiter compared to 35W? Will have to wait for the rest of the pics.

Normally when taking pics of HID's the color is extremely different from picture to real life. Just assume his is the right color...

My cut off lines look exactly the same... not sure why the wierd "boxes" show up, but they were there with the factory halogens too...

Since these projectors are designed for halogens and not a true HID, there are 2 metal plates to reduce glare inside the projector itself. If you take out the headlight and look, you can push that plate a little bit to fix it, but it's not too bad of an issue. It's the same way in my Camry and we've dubbed them "squirrel blinders". No issues with oncoming traffic w/ HIDs for me, so it should be ok on the tC as well.

Hi I was wondering what's a good site that sells HIDs for the 2011 tc and what brand of HIDs is the best? Thank in advance.

To add on to this, it's mainly used to light up the road signs.

Halogen projectors and HID projectors are two different type of projectors and again the halogen projectors isn't really suited for HID.

For the 2011 tC do you have to reverse the polarity?
