Creative Compacts is $303 after shipping. I would rather order from these guys than PTuning. My friend ordered some stuff from PTuning and they jacked him around.

Whats there to jack around if the item is in stock? Its a $10+ plus savings and its in stock. Also:

"*This item is currently in stock. Order placed by 4:00pm EST, will ship out the same day (excl. weekends & holidays)."

So if weary im sure u can place the order over the phone and stuff, and they provide you with a tracking number asap im assuming. When its time and if they still have this price I'll use them, or ask another company to match it if need be.

Well they screwed around and didn't ship his order like they say for a week. They say same day but it took them a week to ship it then a week to get it.

Alrite I'll just let you know when im ready to order? And I can paypal that in full or credit card? And then I'll get my sweet header! Woot woot. P.S. Does it come with detailed Scion tC install instructions??

CreativeCompacts

You can use any method of payment you like. Shopping cart allows them all. Not much of an install instruction on the header since its just a replacement.

can anyone give some examples of things that could go wrong b/c of an improper header install/replacement, or if something were wrong with the headers? i really want to purchase them, but im a little worried about that

CEL if you just do a direct plug in for the sensor or you can do the spark plug adapter thingy for the sensor and then ur 100%

ok, besides for the cell b/c of the 02 sensor and crap, can it cause any serious damage?

i'm interested in the header too... but what is this about a CEL and avoiding it with a "thingie"?

i guess i have 2 questions:

1. does the header come with instructions and everything i'll need to install it and not throw a CEL?

2. is it emissions legal in CA? yah, i know, it'll be 2009 before i have to get a smog certificate for an '05 tC so this isn't a deal breaker. i'm just curious.

thanx! $288.25 is a good price on a header. what kind of power gains are documented? are there any dyno results? (i guess that makes 4 questions)

No matter how it is installed it throws a CEL because it eliminates the first Cat. To shut it off take 2 18mm Spark Plug Anti Foulers and take a 1/2" drill bit to open up the end then thread 2 of them together and stick them in the 02 housing then thread the 02 sensor into the Anti-Foulers.

Or if you are like me and just don't really give 2 ____s, leave it on. It does not affect performance of the car.

02 sensors help adjust the a/f ratio... so it would somewhat effect the performance

Sounds great with the stock system.....horrible with the TRD exhaust.

so if it eliminates the first cat, it must not be smog legal.... or am i missing something here?

James -

Sorry to bother you again but I would like to do the intake at the same itme. Just so I am prepared can you PM me the price of intake and header shipped to 60035 ( a business address as well so its cheaper, it'll goto my shop). i might want to add another toy to the order if it saves more money, will browse the site later today at work, but I am for sure in want of the weaper r secret intake and the dc sports header. And also can you throw in the 2 spark plug foulers and whatnot so I can have a complete non CEL giving kit?
