can you pressure wash an aftermarket body kit that has been painted just like the facroty urethane one, or am i gonna be stuck hand washing my car?

Lonely_Raven 03-07-2005, 10:54 PM You should ALWAYS be hand washing your car. Pressure washing forces particulates INTO the paint and contaminates the paint causing spots, scratches, and paint fading over time. But, if you insist on pressure washing, you should be fine assuming you aren't holding the washer 3" from the paint and blasting the finish off. Make sure you give the paint time to cure properly (the paint shop who painted for you can tell you how many weeks that is), and give the whole box a good wash and wax.
