Almost done with all the motor stuff. Then it's time to do the inside. With my sheet metal hull between the seats. XBG Sciond 12-02-2010, 01:21 AM please give us some updates as you have them....for those who know what we are looking at at it is very impressive xbgod 12-02-2010, 02:05 AM Will do. It's at CFT right now finishing up some wiring and being tuned. will update as information becomes available. Should be around 400hp to the wheels. should be pushing about 30lb boost on 107 and methanol. XBG VIP_CAMO 12-02-2010, 06:06 AM i feel a poke in my pants..the specs are wow def try and hook up a vid of the dynorun would love to hear this thing prrr!!.:eyes: xbgod 12-02-2010, 11:43 AM I asked them to run the camera when Dynoing. Hope they remember. Unfortunately my time dosen't allow me to be there to monitor everything so hopefully everything goes as planned. I can't wait to hear it either. XBG xbgod 12-04-2010, 10:51 PM A couple of close-ups of the extremely modified Weapon-R sheet metal intake manifold with a 70mm Edlebrock victor-X T/B. And a rear view of the turbo. XBG brett561tc 12-07-2010, 03:55 PM id hit it like this... http://www.gifsoup.com/webroot/animatedgifs/766259_o.gif paul_dezod 12-07-2010, 06:21 PM Aras! Getting that much closer huh bud? Rollo taking good care of you over there? What ems did you end up with? xbgod 12-07-2010, 06:31 PM So far it looks like were still using Microtech. Had those agressive cams made to help out with doing away with the VVTI. So well see were we end up at the end of the week. The motor is rock solid and built to the hilt. Rollo is working his magic and getting things done. I'll be talking to him later today to see where were at. Aras YELOSUB 12-07-2010, 11:48 PM Wow, that is impressive... Sciond 12-10-2010, 07:07 PM any results yet? xbgod 01-01-2011, 02:22 PM Yes the holidays have made things a challange. But here is where I am right now. I know you guys love the updates and the drama. Yesterday we went on the dyno but not before fixing a leaky methanol fitting and the one way valve for it that wasn't so one way. But after those two things on to the MD500 we went. Still not finished because I have the wrong spring in my Tial MV-S wastegate and could not do a damn thing about it yesterday. So here is how it went yesterday: 3200 rpm with 4.3lb of boost = 132hp 4800 rpm with 16lb of boost = 282hp was using 107 octane and meth My red line is 7000rpm. so here is where I am untill sometime next week untill I get the new springs from Tial. I have done so much mods that in light of doing all this stuff I didn't even pay attention to the spring rate that was preinstalled in the wastegate. We were on the dyno and noticed that we couldn't get past the above numbers untill further inspection of the wstegate. So next week new number will be available. The car sounds amazing with the 70mm TB and all my race engine stuff. Oh and gets better............pushed the car down the ramps on the dyno set it to the side for about 10min. got back in to drive it around and some how the transmission linkage cables are either binding or broke from god knows what. Was getting dark and to close to beer-thirty to give a ____ so back at on monday. XBG mmmpshh 01-01-2011, 04:48 PM very nice build sdsnybny 01-01-2011, 05:10 PM Great job cant wait to see the final results Sciond 01-01-2011, 08:16 PM this is gonna put up some amazing numbers...very nice so far |
